So many of us these day struggle with constant 'to do' lists of managing work & home life that we can often end up feeling stressed, low in energy and find our sleep is disrupted.
Learning techniques to harness the power of the breath allows us to know how to return to a state of calm & balance. I combine sessions with a guided meditation helping to quiet your mind & so that you leave feeling rested and restored. Many people tell me that they have never been able to meditate previously but find that using the breath acts as a gateway to allow a state of deep relaxation to be reached.

I also offer:
- Private 1:1 breathwork &/or meditation sessions - in person or online - After an initial assessment of the way that you breathe and a consultation, we will work together on techniques that will hopefully assist you. Investment = £30 - one hour session
- Group breathwork &/or meditation sessions - in person or online - Perhaps you are a group of friends that acknowledge you all could do with some support or you already work in the wellness business and consider breathwork and/or meditation would be a useful addition to the service you already offer? Whatever your situation, let's discuss how I can help.
- Corporate breathwork &/or meditation sessions - in person or online - Are you actively seeking to support your employees wellbeing and looking for techniques that can be taught to promote this? These sessions are tailored specifically to the needs of your organisation and, having myself worked in a high pressure environment, my background allows me to be fully aware of the pressures people feel today. Please contact me so that we can discuss a plan.
Reflexology
With over 200,000 nerve endings on the soles of our feet, it's not difficult to see why reflexology is a relaxing complimentary therapy which can bring about a state of deep rest & reduce stress. The treatment follows the idea that points on the feet correspond to different areas of the body and by applying massage techniques to the feet the goal is to stimulate the body’s own natural healing process and improve your general well-being.
Reflexology can help to relieve anxiety and tension, encourage relaxation, improve mood and aid sleep, though some people use it to help them cope with more specific health challenges. As a complementary therapy it works very well alongside conventional medicine & is often used alongside conventional care in hospices, hospitals and other healthcare settings, to help support patients with a variety of conditions.
What to expect - Initially I will ask you various questions about your health and lifestyle, to ensure reflexology is right for you and to understand how to adapt the treatment to you’re your individual needs. For the treatment you just need to remove your shoes and socks and relax on a comfortable reclining chair. I will gently cleanse your feet and then apply cream or oil before beginning the treatment which generally lasts for 45 minutes to an hour. I work on a mobile basis, so that I can visit you in the privacy of your own home taking out the need for you to travel to appointments.
I qualified in this therapy in 2003 and I am listed on the FHT’s Directory (the UK’s leading and largest professional association for therapists).

What happens during a sound bath?
Most people choose to lie on the ground, on a yoga mat, or something similar but if you prefer to remain seated that’s equally fine – whatever is most comfortable for you! I will then lead you through a few simple breathing sequences followed by a short, guided meditation. I will play various instruments with different sound frequencies such as crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and chimes interspersed with periods of silence. Sessions are often relaxing, but not always. Thoughts or emotions sometimes arise that are challenging however treating these with curiosity and trusting that you will experience what is right for you at that time is an important element.
What to bring?
Please wear warm comfy clothes and bring a mat or an adjustable chair, a pillow (perhaps also one for under your knees), blankets, warm socks and perhaps a cover for your eyes – basically whatever you need to make yourself snug and cosy.
